What happens if I don’t win my case?
Will it affect my credit?
We may do a soft credit check as part of our assessment process. This will show as an enquiry on your credit file, but will not affect your credit score.
Can I apply before I have a lawyer?
Yes, you can apply before you have a lawyer. If you need help finding the right one, we may be able to assist.
Do I have to switch lawyers?
Not at all. We work with your existing legal team and don’t interfere with your case or strategy.
Is there a minimum amount I can apply for?
There’s no strict minimum or maximum. Each application is assessed based on what you're likely to receive at the end of your case.
How long does it take to get approved?
Most clients receive a decision within a few days of applying, depending on the information provided by you and your legal team.
What can I use my Partways loan for?
You can use the funds for legal fees, mediation, experts' fees, barristers fees, court fees, and lots more as long as the expense is for the purpose of your family law case.
How is my Partways loan repaid?
Your Partways loan is repaid from what you receive at the end of your case. There are no minimum repayments in the meantime.
Can I repay early?
Absolutely. You can repay at any time without penalty or extra fees.
